DataMetrix Names Ruth Wingfield RHIA, CCS, CCS-P Chief DRG Auditor

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. March 4. -- DataMetrix, a prominent technological and clinical healthcare pre-pay and post-pay data mining, auditing and recovery firm, today announced the hiring of Ruth Wingfield RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, to occupy the post of Chief DRG Auditor.

Before joining DataMetrix, Ms. Wingfield was the Health Information Management (HIM) specialist consultant for Bearing Point, performing HIM workflow analysis, managing and installing financial management systems, and profit acceleration programs for the nation’s largest medical systems and academic institutions. In her more than a decade working with medical coding systems, Ms. Wingfield has worked for the United States Veteran’s Administration and for a variety of hospitals and healthcare providers, designing and examining medical coding systems, and training others in the intricacies of ICD-9 and DRG coding.

Ms. Wingfield has degrees in Health Information Management and Psychology, with credentials in HIM technology, coding, HIM Administration, and physician-based coding.
